Assigning a Phone Number to Your AI Agent

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Login to Synthflow

  2. Navigate to the ‘Agents’ Tab

    • On the left-hand menu, click “Agents” to view all created agents.

  3. Select the Agents

    • Click on the Agents you want to assign the phone number to.

  4. Click on “Deployment”

  5. Choose From Available Numbers

    • You will see a Popup or list of available phone numbers you've purchased.

    • Select the number you want to assign.

  6. Changes will be saved automatically


Notes:

  • If you haven’t purchased a number yet, use this guide: Buy a Phone Number.

  • You can only assign one number per agent

  • Make sure the number is not already assigned to another assistant to avoid conflicts.

    • An agent can share a phone number but a phone number can only be shared between 1 inbound agent and many outbound agents.
